Iron Gate Studio launched the update practically by surprise Ashlands For Valheimwhich above all introduces the new area of the same name to the world of the game, thus adding a considerable amount of content to that present so far in the survival game with a Nordic setting.
The community has been waiting for the arrival of the update in complete form for a long time, and after a rather long testing period, also open to the public, Ashlands has finally been permanently added to the world of Valheim, bringing with it everything its charm and its distinctive dangers.
The new volcanic area introduced is in fact not an easy area to tackle: Ashlands is considered an endgame update, therefore dedicated above all to high-level players who are looking for more demanding challenges than normal.
Lots of new features: enemies, weapons and game mechanics
Obviously, to a greater quantity of dangers and more challenging clashes it also corresponds to a greater wealth of rewards, and Ashlands is in fact a land rich in precious materials and elements capable of helping to forge new weapons, armor and exclusive equipment.
The new enemies Charred they are dead and reanimated beings, capable of representing particularly difficult adversaries also because they hide inside fortresses with considerable resistance, which force them to adopt new methods of attack.
Ashlands brings indeed siege vehicles and weapons: to demolish the Charred fortresses it becomes essential to adopt new strategies through catapults and similar means, which can break down the defenses of the fortifications and open the way towards direct combat.
Among the new ones enemies there is also the Fallen Valkyrie, capable of attacking from above with considerable power, in addition to the Morgen, who always appear particularly aggressive. For the rest, in the expansion we find some elements exclusively linked to the Ashlands area such as ashwood, specific stones and elements that allow you to build objects, weapons and armor of new types and with new characteristics, furthermore the new gems for crafting can infuse the elements of blood, storm or nature in weapons.
