Yesterday, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned of the psychological damage to children in Gaza as a result of the ongoing Israeli attack on the besieged Strip, including “devastating levels” of stress.
The UN agency said, in a statement on its account on the “X” platform, that “children in Gaza are suffering from devastating levels of stress.”
The statement added, “The UNRWA team works with children and adolescents to mitigate the impact of the horrors of war.” The agency continued: “Our advisors provide the children of Gaza with hope and comfort, and we must protect their present and future,” reiterating the necessity of “an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.”
