Berkshire Hathaway’s share price has risen by about 30 percent since the beginning of the year, which is clearly a better rate of increase than, for example, the world’s most followed stock index, the S&P 500, by about 17 percent.
The long-term success of the investment company has been exceptionally good. According to Bloomberg, the company’s market value has increased, calculated as a steady increase, by approximately 20 percent per year from 1965 until 2023.
According to the news agency, it is almost double the growth rate compared to the development of the S&P 500 index, which is considered a milestone in the stock market, during the same period.
