All eyes of this April will be on Nintendo Switch 2, but there is life beyond the new Nintendo console. This 2025 still does not give truce in terms of video game launches and is something that will demonstrate over the next few weeks. Almost five years after its premiere in PlayStation 4, the acclaimed The Last of Us: Part II will finally reach PC in its final version. This reissue for computers will not only incorporate the entire content of the original title, but also all the improvements included in the remastered version that was launched last year for PlayStation 5.

South of Midnight

The Canadian Compulsion Games study, responsible for games such as contrast and We Happy Few, is behind this suggestive third -person action game inspired by the Gothic legends of the southern United States. Decomunal Caimanes, speakers, swamps and Blues music will accompany the protagonist on her trip to meet her mother. The visual style stands out especially, which uses the Stop Motion animation technique.

Commandos: Origins

Commandos, the iconic infiltration video game saga set in World War II, returns this April in the hands of the German study Claymore Game Studios. They return, then, the best known green beret of the interactive medium and its companions in an adventure that will have 14 missions set after the battle of Dunkerque. This new adventure will maintain the characteristic isometric perspective of the series, although with a visual section adapted to our days. The strategy and the puzzles consisting of finding the best way of action will continue to be the key.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (PS5)

The last and unexpected great adventure of Indiana Jones has not taken place on the big screen, but in video games. Indiana Jones and the big circle was one of our essential video games of 2024, and now arrives in PlayStation 5 in a surprising movement by Microsoft. The new video game starring the most famous archaeologist of fiction not only does justice to the original films trilogy – in fact, is set between the lost ark and the last crusade – but perfectly captures the spirit of the character.
Thanks to its use of the first person, the player not only controls Indy, but also puts himself on his skin to explore some scenarios recreated with a high level of detail. Puzzles and research predominate, but this does not prevent there are also moments of action (and comedy).

Clair Oscur: Expedition 33

Since its offices in Montpellier, the French study Sandfall Interactive has developed this ambitious fantasy story with turns and a very worked visual style. Forza Horizon 5 (PS5)

Another launch of Microsoft on the Sony console for this month of April, and not anyone. Forza Horizon 5, of the British Playground Games study, was an excellent racing game when it was published in 2021 and still is today. Their races take place in a huge open world set in Mexico, a great scenario full of detail, with locations of all kinds and endless missions and events.

MotoGP 25

One more year, the motorcycling simulator developed by the Italian study Milestone returns with a new installment that adds several unpublished characteristics to date.
