The representative of the first season, Jacobs, is from Buffalo, where a shooter killed ten people in May. Since then, Jacobs has said he supports a ban on assault weapons throughout the federal government and other blackmail into gun laws.

Jacobs, who ran for re-election, said he was relinquishing his candidacy to avoid an internal political struggle within his party.
