regional government
The Acting Councilor for Employment, Víctor Marín, explained that “during the month of August the number of unemployed people remained practically stable. The data known today breaks the usual pattern of rising unemployment that is traditionally experienced in the month of August in the Region due to the end of temporary hiring that occurs in summer. -
CCOO
According to the union, employment in the Region is “too focused on the primary sector and the service sector, and it would be necessary to diversify its composition.” For this reason, it asks the regional government that will be formed in the coming days to “have as its main priority the development of a regional employment plan.” -
Chamber of Commerce
For the Chamber of Commerce, the forecasts indicate “a continuity of the good development of the labor market”, whose intensity will depend on the resolution of different factors, especially those related to reducing “the uncertainty that the lack of government formation implies at the national level », once the situation in the regional was clarified. -
UGT
The union values that inflation “continues to be high and is still not overcome”, with which the “good” behavior of employment “is not translating into an improvement in the quality of life of people” due to “high prices » Commodity.
