His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, said: In response to the directives of the wise leadership, the UAE provided this support, which comes within the framework of the close relations between the two friendly countries, and within the UAE’s solidarity with Kenya and standing by its side to mitigate the severity of the effects resulting from the floods that the country witnessed. Recently, and to contribute to providing the necessary needs for the friendly people of Kenya, based on the humanitarian and development role of the UAE in providing urgent relief to friendly countries during crises and natural disasters.
His Excellency expressed his sincere condolences and solidarity with the Republic of Kenya and its friendly people and to the families and relatives of the flood victims, and a speedy recovery for all those injured.
