A man was arrested by municipal police, accused of damaging a surveillance camera post with a panic button, which was installed in stage 9 of the Riberas del Bravo subdivision, on Sunday night.
Police arrived at Rivera del Eucalipto and Rivera de la Pradera streets because personnel from the Immediate Emergency and Response Center (CERI) observed that the pole, owned by the municipality, was being damaged with a personnel transport truck.
Hugo César A. M, 26 years old, is the probable offender, who used a white Volkswagen Ayco 2024 truck to hit the metal structure several times until it collapsed, reported a municipal police commander.
The officers took him to the South Station and he was later reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for damage to municipal property.
