The eighth live broadcast episode of the “Million Poet” program in its eleventh season will begin tomorrow, organized by the Cultural and Heritage Festivals and Programs Management Committee in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Emirates Heritage Club, within the framework of its cultural strategy aimed at preserving heritage and promoting interest in Arabic literature and poetry.
During the eighth episode of the program, the members of the jury, consisting of Dr. Ghassan Al-Hassan, Dr. Sultan Al-Amimi, and Hamad Al-Saeed, meet with the six poets: Talal bin Hussein Al-Shammari, Muhammad bin Fayyad, and Amer Muhammad bin Mubasher from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal Abareed Al-Azmi from Kuwait, and Albu Mahfouz Sidi Amar. From Mauritania, and Sattam Raji Al-Huwaiti from Jordan, who will present their poetic masterpieces during the last evening of the first stage, “The 48th Stage,” which will witness a remarkable presence of fans of Nabati poetry.
The last episode of the program resulted in the qualification of the poets Abdullah Hanif Al-Yami from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Muhammad Mansour Al-Matarqa from Kuwait to the next stage of the competition, by decision of the members of the jury, while the rest of the poets of the episode are waiting, namely: “Ahmed bin Fahd Al-Otaibi from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, And Ahmed Musleh Al-Faouri from Jordan, Salem Ahmed Al-Badeed Al-Mannai from Bahrain, and Nasser Hadi Al-Mansouri from the UAE. “The end of the public voting period through the “Poet of a Million” website and application at the beginning of the eighth episode, where the presenters of the program will announce the results of the voting and who qualifies for the next stage by the public’s vote.
