Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Today, the head of the Internal Control Body (OIC)Rafael Padilla Díaz, appears before the Mazatlán council to give an explanation in relation to the activity report presented by that supervisory body on May 26.
Background
In the ordinary session of council 14, the alderman for BrunetteRoberto Rodríguez, spoke out against the director of the ICOwhom he accused of simulating, since the 50 audits they carry out on paramunicipalities are done with the information they want to give him.
The ICO does not comply, since of the 69 technical audits that it reviewed to public works constructions and construction licenses, most of them show observations that have not been resolved by the officials.
In the planning unit there were 43 observations and zero resolved; in Well-being, 15 observations and zero resolved. Faced with this accumulation of observations, the mayor asked the aldermen what to do with so much irregularity of the holder of the Internal control organ.
The PAN councilor Martín Pérez also spoke in favor of Raphael Padilla detail the audit report in depth, since the resources of the agencies and para-municipalities that handle public money must be made transparent.

Given this pronouncement, the secretary of the Mazatlan City HallÉdgar Augusto González Zataráin, indicated that at the request of the president, Rafael Padilla Díaz would be ordered to appear, in order to clear up doubts about the report that runs from January to December 2021.
