Two robbers robbed a tobacconist's shop in the district of Balsapintada, in Fuente Álamo, at gunpoint. The thieves, who covered their faces with balaclavas, entered the premises, located on Sánchez Picazo Street, last Tuesday, around nine at night, armed with a gun.
One of the hooded men entered the part of the counter where the owner was and demanded the money from the cash register while pointing the gun at him. The other assailant approached with a plastic bag so he could put the money in. The scene was recorded by the establishment's security cameras. In the images you can see how the owner hands over a bunch of bills from the drawer, while they point the gun at him. After depositing all the proceeds, the robbers demand the money from his wallet. At that moment, the man drops several bills on the ground and bends down to pick them up one by one, to hand them to him.
The assault lasted less than a minute, and according to sources close to the case, one of the hooded men had a Moroccan accent and the other had a Spanish accent. The Civil Guard, the body that took over the case, is looking for the two robbers who fled the scene on foot.
