The occupants did not require medical assistance and the zodiac was towed to the port
The troops assigned to the Beach Rescue Plan and Maritime Rescue (Plan Copla) rescued three people whose boat had broken down two miles from the coast. The event took place around 12:27 am in the Mediterranean Sea area, behind the Hormigas Islands, in La Manga del Mar Menor, in the municipality of San Javier.
According to the 112 of the Murcia Region, the damaged boat was a 5-meter long zodiac and the occupants, three adults, were in good condition and did not need health care.
The semi-rigid Red Cross vessel ‘LS Punta de Algas’ was mobilized to proceed to tow the vessel to port.
