An Ecuadorian mother and her three minor children were in the group of 13 people deprived of their liberty. who were rescued by police authorities in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.
According to official information, the rescue was carried out during an operation orchestrated by the Strategic Operations Prosecutor’s Office, through the Model Unit for Attention to Kidnapping Crime, at a home in the Manuel J. Clouthier neighborhood.
At the scene, police officers detained armed individuals, who are believed to have been involved in the illegal deprivation of liberty of this group of people.
“On this occasion, in the group there were victims of the following nationalities: six Mexicans, one person from El Salvador, one from Honduras, one from Guatemala and four from Ecuador, in this last group, a woman and her three children, all minors,” detailed the Chihuahua Prosecutor’s Office in an official report.
It is worth mentioning that the rescue operation took place last Thursday, May 30 of this year.
