Last October the new chips arrived on the market Intel Core i9 of the thirteenth and fourteenth generation. Although at the time this hardware was received with open arms, new reports have indicated that PCs that use these chips have presented failures when playing, specifically everything that is related to the Unreal Engine.
According to multiple reports, the problems vary depending on the game. In some cases, “out of memory” messages appear, which may result in title closure or a complete crash of the user's computer. In this regard, an Intel spokesperson told ZDNet Korea that they are already evaluating user reports, who point out constant errors in titles such as The Finals, Fortnite and Tekken 8.
Unfortunately, at the moment there is no clear answer to these problems, so we just have to wait until Intel offers a solution. For now, Epic Games suggests changing the behavior of Serial Voltage Identification Debug (SVID) from the BIOS. For their part, other PC manufacturers recommend lowering the performance core ratio limit to ease the workload, which appears to improve the stability of some titles.
We can only wait for Intel to offer us a solution to this serious problem. On related topics, this is how it runs Horizon Forbidden West on PC. Likewise, you can now play Pepsiman for free on PC.
Author's Note:
Playing on PC is horrible. Unless it's a strategy game or a small experience, I prefer to use my laptop to work. Recently, I started playing the original falloutand I can't believe that a title that's as old as I am wouldn't run properly on a PC I bought last year.
