The suspects, who wore balaclavas and goat’s feet, were hiding a loot of 500 euros when they were arrested
Two men have been arrested by the Torre Pacheco Local Police for trying to rob a local bar at dawn. The defendants, according to sources from the body, came to throw themselves at the agents to avoid arrest, punching them several times.
It was the neighbors of a place on Antonio Ayala Garre street who sounded the alarm to the Police when they heard noises in the establishment around three in the morning. The municipal officers quickly moved to the area and the two thieves, aged 38 and 42, tried to flee when they detected the presence of the patrols offering resistance, since they launched themselves against the agents, punching them several times. As the sources specified, the assailants were wearing balaclavas and armed with goat legs, screwdrivers and pliers, but they were reduced by the police and arrested with a loot of 500 euros.
The two individuals were taken to a health center for a medical examination. They were later handed over to the Civil Guard to be made available to the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 1 of San Javier for alleged crimes of robbery with force and attacking the authority.
