Culiacán, Sinaloa.- With the motto: Because we are all different. Without hate, with pride, this day is a collective effort of different institutions and social organizations that have come together with the purpose of creating a space for reflection on sexual diversity and promoting an attitude of inclusion through scientific dissemination.
The organizers believe that it is necessary to contribute, from the academy, to reduce the lags that still exist in terms of discrimination based on sexual orientation.
From June 15 to 28, 2022, within the framework of this Conference, different cultural activities will be carried out such as conferences, talks, a film series and an exhibition. The venue for this event is the Center for Linkage and Regional Development Culiacán Unit of the National Polytechnic Institute, located at Gral. A. Rosales 412 Pte., Col. Centro.
This First Cultural Day on Sexual Diversity is possible thanks to the coordination between the Bordamos de Corazón Collective, the Open Heart Association – LGBT Families, AC, the Culiacán Municipal Institute of Culture, the UPGPG / IPN Culiacán Gender Network, and the CVDR Culiacán / IPN Unit.
