The City Council asks for citizen collaboration to locate the perpetrators of this vandalism act
The facilities of the kitchens in the La Viña neighborhood, on the Las Señoritas de Lorca rambla, made of stone, have woken up completely destroyed, lamented this Thursday the Councilor for Citizen Security, José Luis Ruiz, who demanded citizen collaboration to identify the the perpetrators of this vandalism.
Furniture elements such as the wooden benches are also destroyed, detailed the mayor, who described this as an “attack on the heritage of all Lorca.”
He assured that “we are working to identify the person or group of people who have committed these acts of vandalism” and warned that “they are a crime punishable by heavy penalties and even jail.”
Ruiz assured that the Local Police will intensify surveillance in parks and recreation areas to prevent these types of events from occurring.
According to the mayor, “the City Council alone can not fight against heartless people who have fun” doing these damages for which he requested, “earnestly”, citizen collaboration in case “anyone had any information that helps us find those responsible.”
