They arrest a man accused of harassing Shakira

Daniel John Valtier, 56, was arrested this Monday around Shakira's home in Miami accused of harassing the singer. The man claimed through social networks that he was married to the Colombian woman and that they had both started a family. The detainee resides in Texas but had traveled to the district of Florida by taxi with the intention of seeing the singer. His team, upon realizing the situation, would have notified the authorities, who carried out the arrest practically at the doors of the home and without having any type of contact with those around them. The singer's legal representatives had already taken action on the matter after the publications on networks and sent several letters to Daniel to stop his efforts, but he ignored them. Now, he faces a crime of harassment.

Shakira headed to Miami with the intention of having a calmer life and away from the media hurricane caused by her separation from soccer player Gerard Piqué.
