The death of a 14 year old shocked American society on March 24. Tire Sampson 14 years old got fired from a game mechanic known as Free Fallwhich is considered the tallest drop tower in the world, this being the main attraction of the ICON Park in OrlandoFla.
Tire Sampson the young African American Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he was vacationing in Orlando with a friend’s relatives who decided to go to the amusement park to have fun. Tire got into the game with his friends when noticed that something was wrong. Both he and the other boys were only restrained with a harness and there were no additional belts that provided greater security. This detail was communicated via message to his relatives, moments before the fatal event.
The mechanical game went up to 100 meters, in the highest part it turned and stopped its movement for several seconds until it began its vertiginous descent at 120 kilometers per hour. The mechanical operation of the Free Fall was developed within the everyday until, shortly before reaching the ground, Sampson’s harness rises and he can’t hold on any longer. As a result of this failure, the 14-year-old adolescent was thrown against the ground, causing the impact, his death.
