The six people who remained in the Manises Hospital (Valencia) after being carbon monoxide poisoning in a garage in the Valencian town of Chiva while they were carrying out cleaning work due to the effects caused by the DANAhave already been discharged, according to sources from the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU).
The event occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in a garage located on Ramón y Cajal street in the town, apparently due to bad combustion of a drain pump motor.
The CICU attended 19 peopleamong them a man having a seizure who was transferred in stable condition to the Manises hospital in a BLS (basic life support) unit. Another seven people were transferred to the same hospital center in a SAMU unit, two BLS units and a BLS unit from the EMU, while the remaining eleven were transferred by their own means.
Of the ten people who were assisted in the emergency service of the Manises Hospital, four were discharged and the other six remained under observation. This Sunday, the CICU has reported that these six people have already been discharged, one on this Sunday morning and the other five on this Saturday night.
