The Administrative Contentious Court 2 of Vigo has condemned the Vigo City Council to pay the Sweet Nocturna company, promoter of the Guns N ‘Roses concert, Roses, more than 1.5 million euros for the failed sponsorship of the eventheld at the Abanca Balaídos Municipal Stadium on June 12, 2023.
The appeal derives from the refusal of the City Council to pay such sponsorship, claiming that a public tender was processed that, finally, was deserted. When the City Council declared the contest desert, The company claimed to be compensatedbut the Governing Board dismissed its claims. From there, he appealed to the courts, and now the court has declared that the agreements of the Governing Board rejecting the claims of Sweet Night are disagreement of law.
In his ruling, he condemns the City Council to pay the price offered in the bidding procedure, 1,563,000 million euros, plus VAT and the corresponding interests.
