Former Pentagon adviser McGregor: Germany will gradually move closer to Russia
Former Pentagon adviser, retired Colonel Douglas McGregor predicted a rapprochement between Germany and Russia. This is what he’s talking about wrote on social network X.
In his opinion, Germany will gradually move away from the alliance with the United States and move towards a partnership with Russia. “Germany is moving inch by inch – intellectually, psychologically and strategically – towards Russia. For Germany, this is the only way to restore the economy,” he said.
McGregor believes the decisive split between Washington and Berlin will occur in the coming months.
Earlier it was reported that the German Cabinet planned to send three HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The German government website said that, in particular, these systems top the list in the “artillery” section among weapons delivered or planned to be sent to Kyiv. The list also includes 36 RCH 155 wheeled howitzers, 14 Zuzana 2 wheeled howitzers, as well as a number of other installations.
