US imposes sanctions against Russia Today and Margarita Simonyan
The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on ten individuals and two Russian entities that Washington believes were attempting to influence the outcome of the upcoming US presidential election. Among them, according to a published statement, turned out to be Russia Today TV channel and its editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan.
