Ciudad Juarez.- Dozens of people gathered this day in the Juan Gabriel Plaza for the Third Wrestling Festival.
This event is held as part of the celebration of Lucha Libre Day, instituted in this border on September 25.
José Pacheco “Pagano”, the event organizer, said that there will be around 120 local wrestlers from Mexico and other countries.
He said there will be a small ring for children, as well as a museum dedicated to this sport.
In addition, there will be a tribute to Edie Guerrero.
There will also be a main event at 6:45 p.m., and there will be 9 arenas in Ciudad Juárez throughout the day.
Last year, between 8,000 and 10,000 people attended the festival in a 10-hour span, Pacheco said.
This event started at 12:00 noon and will end at 12:00 midnight.
