The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a asymmetric horror survival game, based on the iconic 1974 movie “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”. Players will have to play a group of survivors or the Family: the latter will hunt down the others, taking advantage of each member’s unique abilities. The games will be 3v4.
In our in-depth special we explained that “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre could have been a trivial version 2 of Friday the 13th The Game. However, Gun Interactive and Sumo Digital have decided not to give in to laziness and want to propose a familiar structure modeled around to the film on which it is based. The 3vs4, the focus on stealth and statistics are all interesting elements. A first hand test will be necessary to give a first judgement, but for now we can consider ourselves intrigued by this project, expected for 2023. “
