The Supreme Court (TS) has accepted for processing the lawsuit filed by the former judge of the National Court (AN) Manuel García Castellón against the leader of Podemos, Ione Belarra, for calling him “corrupt” and prevaricator, requesting that he be compensated with 240,000 euros considering that these comments have “generated moral damage.”

In an order, the Civil Chamber processes this lawsuit for the protection of the right to honor, with preferential processing, and calls on Belarra and the Prosecutor’s Office to respond to it within a period of 20 days.
