A survey of the job search service Zarplata.ru showed that 43% of Russians work worse in December than in other months. The results of the survey are published on Wednesday, December 8, RT…
It is noted that the efficiency of women suffers to a greater extent (64%), because they are more often busy with New Year’s preparations.
The main reasons for the drop in employee efficiency, in addition to preparing for the New Year, are the inability to concentrate before a long weekend, the need to congratulate partners or colleagues, a relaxed atmosphere and “a general reluctance to conscientiously fulfill their duties in December.”
In particular, 31% of respondents admitted that long-awaited rest takes all their thoughts before the New Year, so it becomes difficult to concentrate on work.
In addition, 18% of employees associate the deterioration in working capacity with forced trips to congratulate partners, another 15% of employees come up with and buy gifts for partners this month, and 13% cannot stop thinking about whether there is enough money for gifts to family and friends.
Another 7% of respondents are distracted by colleagues who constantly want to celebrate upcoming events with champagne. 16% of the respondents found it difficult to answer.
A total of 1,978 respondents took part in the survey.
Earlier, on December 1, Russians in a survey named the most unwanted gifts for the New Year. According to the survey, most often unsuitable or unnecessary wardrobe items: T-shirts, socks, dressing gowns (5%) become unsuccessful New Year gifts. The second line of the anti-rating went to souvenirs: magnets, key rings, figurines – symbols of the year, candles (4%). The third position is occupied by dishes and kitchen utensils: salt shakers, mugs, cutlery (3%).
According to a study carried out, unnecessary souvenirs annoy both men and women alike. Men no longer like inappropriate wardrobe items as a gift, and women do not like kitchen utensils, unsuccessful perfumes and cosmetics, as well as sweets.
On November 30, a study of the SuperJob service showed that a Russian on average intends to spend 18.5 thousand rubles on New Years and holidays, excluding gifts.
