The Saturday October 2 edition of La voz senior had the unexpected departure of one of the contestants. Peter Jiménez, member of Eva Ayllón’s team, was forced to leave the competition due to personal issues. ‘El Potrillo’ said goodbye to the singing reality show thanking her mentor for the lessons learned.
Teacher Eva Ayllón explained to the program’s host, Cristian Rivero, that her team’s knockout would take place between only two participants. “‘El Portrillo'” has had un family problem, then will not continue in the competition, unfortunately, “said the Peruvian singer.

Jiménez also offered an apology to the Latina production team, and especially to Eva Ayllón, his coach, to whom he said: “It was the one that gave me the adventure for me to get here, where I am ”. He also thanked his teammates and assured that the winner of the contest will be someone who received advice from the Creole singer.
Through tears, Peter said goodbye to the program: “I leave with immense pain because this was not my intention, but to achieve the dream that I wanted many years ago, but, the truth is, that’s life, things that happen ”.
Then, he addressed all the members of the jury: “I admire you, I appreciate you”. He expressed his disagreement with not being able to say goodbye to them in person. “A kiss and I will be remembering you forever, thank you very much “, concluded.
