The search for the missing minor in the Mar Menor continues by land, sea and air

The search continues for the minor who disappeared at dawn last Friday in Los Alcázares, according to City Hall sources. Specifically, this Monday the Los Alcázares Civil Protection vessel La Maestral and Civil Guard vessels are working on the search work. Support was also requested from the Civil Guard and the Cartagena Police to carry out search work by land. In addition, the Los Alcázares City Council specified that the participation of the helicopter in the work remains to be confirmed.

Due to the wind recorded these days, the Consistory explained that the search efforts are now focused more on the northern area of ​​the Mar Menor, around Isla Perdiguera, Islas Menores and Playa Honda.

The Consistory also pointed out that there is a passive search, since notices were sent to the boats that navigate the Mar Menor and to the brotherhoods to be attentive to any suspicious package that they may find in the salt lagoon.

For their part, the Community Emergency services are at the disposal of what is ordered by the competent authorities in the search, which are the Civil Guard, Maritime Rescue and Maritime Captaincy.
