His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ajman, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, was briefed in his council at the Emiri Diwan on the Al Safia Charitable Hospital project in Ajman.
This came during a meeting with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ihsan Charitable Society, Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of Al Ihsan Charitable Society, and Majid Omair, Deputy Director General of the Society.
His Highness listened to a detailed explanation of the details of the project from Dr. Haqqi Ismail, Director of Al-Ihsan Medical Complex, as this project is scheduled to provide health care to approximately 16,000 patients, through the various specialties present in it, in addition to performing various surgical operations.
Dr. Haqqi added that the hospital provides distinguished health care to everyone without exception, but it puts the poor, the low-income, those sponsored by the Al-Ihsan Charitable Society, and emergency cases at the forefront of its attention, by providing them with unlimited medical support.
The hospital consists of a ground floor containing outpatient clinics and radiology, and three floors, including a floor allocated for in-patient and major operations rooms with a capacity of 24 expandable beds, in addition to a floor for the laboratory and central sterilization, and the last floor was allocated entirely to the kidney clinic due to the need for this field. The cost of the project amounts to 63 million dirhams. Scheduled to be completed at the end of 2025.
His Highness the Ruler of Ajman stressed the importance of this hospital, which will be one of the medical facilities that serves patients on a large scale and meets their health needs at a distinguished level, consistent with the highest standards of health care in the country and its strategic directions.
His Highness said that charitable work is the approach and legacy of the late founder of the state, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul,” and this is what the wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates has been keen on, and has continued to support charitable and humanitarian institutions, care and support the needy and needy, and provide all support to them in all aspects. Aspects of their lives, especially comprehensive health care with high quality, to achieve their happiness and well-being.
For his part, Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Nuaimi stressed that the success achieved by Al Ihsan Medical Complex in providing health and therapeutic care to patients was an incentive for them in the association to plan to expand the scope of health care, through the One Day Surgery Hospital project, which is a charitable charity and the first of its kind in the Emirate of Ajman.
He added that this project received all the support from His Highness the Ruler of Ajman, who granted the association a plot of land in the Al Hillah area (2) on which to build this charitable hospital.
The project presentation was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ruler’s Representative for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, Sheikh Sultan bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Citizens Affairs Office. Marwan Al Muhairi, Director General of the Amiri Diwan, and Tariq bin Ghalita, Director of the Office of His Highness the Ruler.
