“The deputy vice president of the RFEF, María Ángeles García Chaves, at the conclusion of the Board of Directors held in the City of Football, has agreed begin the process for the election of the Assembly, Delegate Commission and President for the 2024-2028 Olympic period,” the federation announced in a statement.
In this way, the elections for the presidency and the Delegated Commission of the RFEF will take place on next Monday, December 16, 2024. A few weeks before, on Monday, November 25, 2024, the elections to the General Assembly will take place.
The call comes one day after the Board of Directors of the Higher Sports Council (CSD) approved the modification of the electoral regulations of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, a necessary requirement for the start of the electoral process for the period 2024-2028.
