The PSOE confirmed this Monday that will denounce the PP for insults and slander after having been rejected for processing the popular complaint for alleged illegal financing. “Not everything goes,” the socialists have reacted in statements recorded and sent to the media made by Enma López, member of the Organizing Committee of the 41st Federal Congress of the PSOE.
“You cannot talk about such serious issues, corruption is a very serious problem. The PSOE fights against it every day and that is why we will continue to defend our good name. Not everything is worth bringing down the Government of Spain. The PP is disoriented and “We will defend our reputation.”Lopez stated.
For the socialists, this judicial decision confirms what they have maintained during this week that the lawsuit has lasted. “We were very calm, there was nothing and this shows it,” López highlighted. The socialist leader has been charged with the “very serious accusations” made by the PP and the presentation of a “completely false, based on newspaper clippings and anonymous testimonies”.
“They met on a Sunday due to their lack of a political project to try to defame the Government and the PSOE. They didn’t care what happened because the damage had been done,” López defended himself.
The judge of the National Court Santiago Pedraz hhas dismissed the complaint filed last Monday by the PP against the PSOE and several defendants in the so-called Koldo case. The judge considers that there is not enough evidence to admit it to proceedings for alleged irregular financing.
