A Special Plan for Attracting Investments for Cartagena, in which the City Council, the Autonomous Community, the Chamber of Commerce and the Cartagena and Comarca Business Confederation (COEC) collaborate, will establish a strategy to attract funds and business partners to large projects in the municipality. The initiative will be presented next week at the Dubai Expo and the first goal is to attract an international transport, import and export fund.
The trade mission, announced by the mayor, Noelia Arroyo, will include the heads of Repsol and Sabic in Cartagena, along with technicians from the Port Authority. The Valle de Escombreras and the Polígono de Los Camachos are the two main poles to which it is intended to allocate industrial and agri-food transformation projects.
