A passenger plane made an emergency landing in St. Petersburg due to a report of mining. This is reported TASS on Tuesday, March 8, with a reference to the press service of Northern Capital Air Gate LLC.
It is noted that the plane landed at Pulkovo airport. The passengers are safe and are being checked.
The agency’s source declined to provide details of the flight until after the verification.
On March 5, unidentified persons reported the bombing of a Boeing 777 aircraft flying from Vladivostok to Moscow, with more than 400 passengers on board. At the end of February, schools in Vladivostok received bomb threat letters. A wave of false reports of mining in various Russian cities began in January 2022.
