Last week, the Joint Operations Command in Iraq launched the third phase of the military operation in order to pursue the remnants of the terrorist organization ISIS.
The third phase of operations began in Salah al-Din and Kirkuk governorates, according to the Iraqi News Agency.
In December 2017, after about 4 years of confrontation with the terrorist organization ISIS, Iraq announced the liberation of its entire territory from the organization, as the terrorist organization controlled about a third of the country’s territory.
