Apparently it’s not just Rotterdam residents who are bothered by goons in big Audis. The people of Alkmaar are also done with it.
It’s a modern thing, apparently. Crazy guys who make the streets of inner cities unsafe in fast Audis, Mercedes and souped-up scooters. Rotterdam has had it for some time now, but residents of other cities are also complaining a lot.
Alkmaar residents, for example, have had it with the kids who drive around the city center in their rented or unrented Audis or AMGs to be seen by everyone. They want action, reports the ever reliable NH News.

And that action means that they want to close the city center from 11 p.m. to everyone who has no business being there. You can only enter if you get a permit. At least that’s the intention. In this way they hope to limit the nuisance.
By the way, the people of Alkmaar are not only concerned with the showpieces in their big Audis, they are also concerned with the drug dealers. They ride into the city in the wake of the neck bags. And closing the city center will stop that, the entrepreneurs there think.
Which the undersigned immediately puts a big question mark about. Because even if they ‘don’t come by bike’ (according to the local business association), scooters can of course pass the posts that have to stop the Audis.
And those bitches often make as much or even more noise than a crackling four-cylinder engine in the front of an A45 AMG or S3. Although, this morning I was driving an RS6 with a V10, and that thing made my windows shake. Mighty beautiful! But that is of course completely beside the point.
What do you think? Do the people of Alkmaar have a right to speak out if they want to close off the city center at night to thieves in big Audis, or should they stop whining and accept that this is apparently just part of life?
