The Pozu Santa Bárbara has exceeded a thousand visits in three weeks to witness the artistic intervention ‘It is better at home than anywhere’, an exhibition by the French Jeanne Susplugas which combines multiple sculptural installations, video and a virtual reality experience.
The French artist explores the concept of home as a symbolic space that intertwines intimacy with the tensions of contemporary society.
The exhibition, which can be visited until January 7, offers an introspective journey through the critical and poetic universe of Susplugas.
The Pozu Santa Bárbara, the first well declared an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC) in Spain, has become a center of artistic experiences.
The exhibition, promoted by the Department of Culture directed by Rocío Antela and curated by the Visual Electronics Laboratory, addresses topics such as mental health, emotional exhaustion, alienation, confinement or the medicalization of society.
