The Health Reputation Monitor (MRS) has just published the list of Hospitals and Clinical Services with the best reputation in Spain in 2024. In its tenth edition, this independent and reference study in the sector has added 34 hospital services and has incorporated the specialty of Nuclear Medicine.
To prepare the rankings, MRS has carried out 8,912 surveys of different healthcare professionals, including specialistsfamily doctors, hospital pharmacists, nursing managers and patient associations.
In this sense, the list of public hospitals prepared by the MRS is headed by a Madrid center: the La Paz Hospital, which once again takes the lead and stands out in 15 clinical services. The ‘top 3’ of the ranking is completed by Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital and the Hospital Clinic Barcelona.

In this way, the La Paz University Hospital once again heads the list of the best public hospitals in Spain. And the center, inaugurated in 1964, has become reference of healthcare worldwide with four large hospitals: General, Maternal, Children and Traumatology and Rehabilitation.
In addition to having the leadership of the ranking, the University Hospital of La Paz stands out in 15 clinical services. Specifically, the hospital center is the best in the specialties of Allergology, Clinical Analysis, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, Cardiology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Medical-Surgical Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Neurosurgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery.
