With the aim of contributing to the transformation of mobility in Spainand within the framework of the ‘Global Mobility Call’ congress that is taking place at the Madrid Fair (IFEMA), the launch event for the MOVINN Innovation Ecosysteman initiative that brings together some of the main actors in the smart transportation value chain.
This ecosystem seeks to promote and stimulate technological development and innovation around the smart and safe mobility of the futurefacilitating collaboration between the main agents of the sector, including companies, knowledge centers, public administrations, associations or social agents, among others.
Coordinated by the Automotive Technology Center of Galicia (CTAG), MOVINN seeks to enhance collaboration between companies, knowledge centers, administrations and associations to develop innovative solutions in connected and automated mobility (CCAM).
The ecosystem will be active until December 2025 and has the support of the Ministry of Science, through the CDTI, represented at the event by Pilar González Gotor, head of the Department of Institutional Promotion and Territorial Cooperation, who highlighted that it is essential that technological advances developed by technology centers and other key actors reach effectively to society.
Pilar González has also pointed out that “at the CDTI we are committed to a clear knowledge transfer strategynot only so that products reach the market, but also so that citizens can directly benefit from these technological developments.
Smart transportation
This program addresses essential activities such as dissemination and training, which cannot be covered with other instruments, allowing for a broader impact. The deployment of this ecosystem will be carried out by a group of which they will be part three technology centers with a seal of excellence Cervera regarding intelligent transportation, CTAG, CIDAUT and ITENE.
Two national business and technological associations, Sernauto and ITS Spain, also contribute their knowledge; an expert consultancy in regulatory aspects PONS Mobility and two driving companies Renault Group and Sacyr.
