The Ministry of Economy organized a workshop entitled “Zero-Government Bureaucracy”, to discuss the mechanisms for implementing the “Zero-Government Bureaucracy” program launched by the UAE government, which aims to simplify and reduce government procedures and eliminate unnecessary procedures and requirements.
The workshop was opened by Badriya Al-Maidour, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for the Support Services Sector, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al-Fan Al-Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Commercial Control and Governance Sector at the Ministry of Economy, Maria Hanif, Assistant Undersecretary for the Policy and Economic Studies Sector, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Muaini, Assistant Undersecretary for the Intellectual Property Sector, and a number From partners and dealers.
Badriya Al-Maidour stressed that the process of developing government work continues in light of the vision and directives of the wise leadership, and to achieve the goals of the “We are the Emirates 2031” vision, with the UAE government becoming the smartest, fastest and most flexible, and the most pioneering and superior system in the world.
This workshop comes within the framework of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance the experience of customers wishing to obtain the various services provided by the Ministry, and its endeavor to improve and develop government services on the one hand, and an expression of the Ministry’s commitment to providing its services in an easy, simple and quick manner on the other hand, without affecting quality and effectiveness. To suit the needs of individual and corporate customers.
The workshop included presenting a number of innovative ideas and visions, as the participants, including the Ministry’s employees, partners and customers, conducted a review of the policies, procedures and requirements for all the Ministry’s services, with the aim of reducing the requirements and time periods for services.
The workshop also discussed an action plan extending to the end of the current year, in line with the general executive plan for the zero-bureaucracy program in the country, which will conclude with a comprehensive evaluation process to measure the impact of implementing the implemented improvements, which will reflect positively on increasing the rate of customer happiness.
