Fighting continues in the Liman of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) are constantly shelling the territory, Izvestia war correspondent Dmitry Zimenkin said on September 10.

According to the journalist, the Russian servicemen are successfully holding the line while in the village. In addition, the nearby settlement of Yampol remains under the control of the RF Armed Forces. The military commissar noted that shelling from the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was observed there.
Earlier that day, Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, said that the Russian Armed Forces had destroyed a radar station of Ukrainian militants in the Mykolaiv region, which was designed to detect and track air targets.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, as of September 10, during the entire period of the special operation to protect Donbass, the Russian military liquidated: 293 Ukrainian aircraft, 152 helicopters, 1929 drones, 374 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3375 field artillery pieces and mortars, 4870 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 830 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems.
The special operation to protect the Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, continues. The decision to hold it was made against the backdrop of an aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military, in connection with which the authorities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics turned to Moscow for help.
