NIS America and Nihon Falcom launched the The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak demo on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, ahead of the launch scheduled for next month. This free trial version allows you to try the first hours of the adventure.
According to official details, to be precise, the demo allows you to play the complete prologue on Nintendo Switch and the first chapter on PlayStation platforms. Enough to get an idea of the dual combat system, both turn-based and real-time depending on your tastes and meet the key characters of the story, such as Van Ankride Agnés Claudel. You will be able to carry over save data from the demo to the full game. In particular in the case of the PS4 version it will be possible to transfer them to the native version for PS5 (for which a dedicated demo is not currently available).

If you are interested, you can download the demo of The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak for PS4 at this address via the PlayStation Store or for Nintendo Switch via the eShop at this link. We remind you that the game will be available from July 5th for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Trails Through Daybreak is set in the fictional Republic of Calvard, a kingdom that is experiencing unprecedented economic prosperity but also great internal tensions due to the increase in immigrants and questionable new reforms. In this context, the game puts us in the shoes of Van Arkride, a Spriggan willing to accept any kind of assignment, from that of a detective to that of a bounty hunter, it doesn’t matter if they are legal jobs or not. Just one of these commissions will lead the player to embark on a strange case that threatens the entire nation. The game features a combat system called AT (Action Time) which allows you to engage enemies in both real-time and turn-based battles.
