Christian Sodano would have availed himself of the right not to respond: the investigating judge validated his arrest
The guarantee interrogation of has already concluded Christian Sodano, carried out this morning in the Latina prison by the judge for preliminary investigations Giuseppe Cario. According to what emerges, the young Finance Marshal would have made use of the right not to respond. At the end of the interview, the investigating judge validated the arrest.
It only lasted about twenty minutes the warrant interrogation to which Christian Sodano was subjected this morning, the marshal of the Guardia di Finanza accused of having shot dead, last Tuesday afternoon, the mother and sister of his ex-girlfriend, Nicoletta Zomparelli aged 49 and Renée Beloved 19 year old.
The first to arrive in via Aspromonte in Latina, where the prison in which the 27-year-old is currently locked up, were the lawyers appointed for the defense by the accused, the lawyers Lucio Teson and Leonardo Palombi. Shortly afterwards the judge for the preliminary investigations also arrived, Giuseppe Cariowho left the detention facility about twenty minutes later.
The investigating judge did not release any statement upon leaving prison, but the short duration of the interview suggests that Christian Sodano made use of the right not to respond. The 27-year-old's lawyers instead simply said that the arrest was validated and that their client referred to the statements made to the prosecutor on the night he was stopped.
In the last few hours it has also emerged that in Backpack Investigators found large plastic bags, gloves, handcuffs, adhesive tape and a telescopic truncheon from the 27-year-old. Sodano declared that these are objects belonging to his mother, but inevitably one can assume that he intended to use them for kidnap Desyrée or whatever premeditated to kill her.
