200 trucks with humanitarian aid arrived in the Gaza Strip. About this on November 25 reported press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
“Today (Friday, November 24), 200 trucks carrying humanitarian aid entered Gaza through the Rafah crossing and delivered supplies to international relief organizations working in the southern Gaza Strip,” the IDF said in a Telegram channel.
It is noted that humanitarian aid supplied to the Gaza Strip was agreed upon and approved by the Israeli government upon the agreement on the release of the hostages.
Earlier, on November 23, it was reported that a Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations plane with another batch of humanitarian aid for residents of the Gaza Strip arrived in Egypt. The department’s special flight landed at El-Arish airport. The Ministry of Emergency Situations also recalled that this is already the 11th shipment since the start of the humanitarian mission. During this period, the Ministry of Emergency Situations sent 273 tons of Russian humanitarian aid.
On October 7, Hamas subjected Israeli territory to massive rocket fire, which was carried out from the Gaza Strip, and also invaded the border areas in the south of the country. On the same day, the Israeli side began to launch retaliatory strikes.
Palestinians are seeking to return the borders between the two countries to the lines that existed before the 1967 Six-Day War. Palestine wants to create its own state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and make East Jerusalem its capital. Israel refuses these conditions.
