The process of launching reconnaissance aircraft comes with preparations by the Houthis and Iranian experts, according to the sources, by transporting winged and sea missiles to Al-Bayda and Taiz to increase the pace of attacks in the Gulf of Aden and their extension to the Arabian Sea.
Earlier Monday, the Houthi militia announced the firing of a missile at a US Navy ship while it was sailing through the Gulf of Aden.
During the past few days, the Houthis, along with experts from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, transferred anti-ship missiles from Sanaa to the governorates of Taiz, Hodeidah, and Hajjah, during the past hours.
Yemeni sources revealed to Sky News Arabia that the transported missiles were “ballistic, winged and naval.”
According to the sources, the missiles were transported to the locations of carrying out attack operations on ships in the Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden.
Dozens of reconnaissance and attack aircraft were also transferred to those governorates.
