Last 1st October the Ghibli Museum celebrated its twentieth anniversary, and for this occasion hosted a balloon dedicated to the sympathetic Totoro, probably one of the best known faces when one thinks of the works of the Studio Ghibli, so much so that it became its mascot.
Although some preventive measures against COVID-19 are still in place, approx 1,300 residents of the city of Mitaka they took part in the twentieth anniversary celebrations, but they had to win the invitation through a special lottery.
