At least according to Geoff Keighley and the wait for the TGA is spasmodic.
It is now shortly to The Game Awards, the classic end-of-year event that will see the awarding of the best titles of 2021 – at least those released by November 15th. Everything is now ready but the focus of the show is now more on the announcements than on the prizes themselves, especially for a year that is anything but exciting. Last year the event was quite disappointing, thanks to the pandemic, but it was useful to have the announcement of the new Mass Effect.
Geoff Keighley increases the dose and after the reveal gameplay of Elden Ring at the Summer Game Fest, announced, through USA Today, the arrival of another four or five announcements at least of the same level.
“The reveal of Elden Ring took two or three years of work. It was highly anticipated and there was a huge demand from players, but the developers didn’t feel ready and there was a lot of pressure built up. This is the thing that people don’t realize: no matter where a game is in development, sometimes the creators just don’t feel ready to show them yet.“.
So, we are on our way to the tide of speculations, even if you just need a little patience to find out.
