The G7 leaders said on Monday that they “fully support and will support” the ceasefire proposal in the Gaza Strip presented by US President Joe Biden.
A statement issued by the group said that the proposal “would lead to an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the release of hostages, a significant and sustainable increase in humanitarian aid to all parts of Gaza, and a permanent end to the crisis.”
Last Friday, the US President presented an initiative aimed at a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. The plan was supported by many countries and organizations.
