UFSB: explosives experts neutralized over 185 UAVs in the DPR in a week
In the Donetsk People’s Republic, Russian intelligence services intercepted over 185 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in a week. About it RIA News reported the press service of the regional department of the FSB.
185 drones were discovered in the skies over Donetsk, Makeyevka, Avdeevka and Gorlovka, among them was a Portuguese-made drone, with the help of which the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) conducted reconnaissance of defense infrastructure facilities of the DPR.
It was discovered near the Zuevskaya Thermal Power Plant while searching for the location of a missile defense system, and was suppressed by the Kupol electronic warfare system. Another UAV was neutralized near an energy infrastructure facility in the Kievsky district of Donetsk.
FSB explosives experts destroyed the UAF drones using special technical means and prevented damage to the critical infrastructure of the DPR.
Earlier on June 3, the acting head of the Kursk region, Alexey Smirnov, said that the danger of an attack by Ukrainian UAVs had been declared in the region.
