The Barcenas Papers
In 2013 Sagnier testified before the National Court for the ‘Gürtel’ case and ratified the existence of “accounting B” in the PP and that the main leaders received bonuses that they received in cash to complement their remuneration as public officials.
On February 6, 2013, he assured the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor that the former treasurer of the PP Luis Bárcenas had shown him some photocopies two years ago that collected a “parallel accounting to that of the party” but Bárcenas denied this version and assured that he never showed him Trias that supposed accounting B.
